
Seed cotton received from the production fields are often at high moisture content and contain trash and other inert material, weed seeds etc. SIMA CDRA undertakes seed processing in truly scientific manner using state of the art equipments. A series of different processing like drying to keep down the moisture content pre-conditioning, pre-cleaning, grading before taking up ginning in 11 double roller gins with qualified gin driver.

Soon after ginning, the ginned seeds are then taken to the Fine Cleaner and cleaned. If seeds are to be supplied as delinted form, then the seeds are acid delinted, washed with water and lime water to remove excess acid and the seeds are dried to optimum moisture level. The acid delinted seed are then graded using Gravity Separator and further cleaned to remove broken and ill filled seeds through Needle sorter. The final produce is then coated with seed treating chemical dried using Driers, weighed and packed according to designated packing sizes with tags.
