Front Line Demonstrations (FLD)
"Seeing is believing" is the basic philosophy of field demonstrations. Only proven technologies are therefore selected for field demonstrations. Front Line demonstration is a long term educational activity conducted in a systematic manner in farmers' fields to show the worth of a new practice/ technology. Accordingly, SIMA CD & RA have conducted Front Line Demonstrations (FLD) from 2005 onwards till date with the financial assistance provided by the Directorate of Cotton Development, Mumbai under Mini Mission II of the Technology Mission on Cotton.
